We understand that travelling with newborns or pets can sometimes be challenging, so we offer a fully mobile studio experience. Also, sessions can take place at carefully selected outdoor locations across Brisbane. We choose locations that offer soft natural light and a calm environment, ideal for pets, newborns, and families.

We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially for newborn sessions where timing can be more flexible and dependent on your baby’s arrival. However, we always do our best to accommodate last-minute enquiries where possible.

Sessions are unhurried and guided by comfort rather than the clock. On average, most sessions last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours, allowing time for breaks, cuddles, feeding, or play as needed.

We recommend soft, neutral tones such as whites, creams, beige, and gentle earthy colours, as these complement our natural and minimal style beautifully.

For newborn sessions, personal items such as meaningful clothing, blankets, or keepsakes are warmly encouraged, as they help create deeply personal and timeless images. For pets, familiar toys or accessories can also add a lovely touch of personality.

We also provide a selection of simple styling pieces and props when needed. All items used during sessions are carefully cleaned and prepared before and after each shoot to ensure a fresh and comfortable experience for every family.

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed in advance to ensure the highest quality of light, composition, and overall experience for each family. Each session is created around a specific focus—whether that be a pet, newborn, or individual portrait—allowing us to maintain a calm, considered, and beautifully styled result.

We absolutely welcome the inclusion of additional pets, children, or family members, as these combinations often create some of the most meaningful and emotive imagery. However, including multiple subjects requires a different approach to lighting, direction, and time allocation.

For this reason, sessions involving more than one pet or child are arranged as a Family Package upgrade, ensuring the appropriate time and creative structure is allocated for a cohesive and elevated final gallery.

This approach allows us to maintain the gentle, unhurried nature of our sessions while delivering imagery that feels intentional, refined, and beautifully balanced.

Little HAVEN Studio is proudly based in Brisbane, Queensland, offering sessions throughout the greater Brisbane region.

For families located beyond Brisbane, we are delighted to travel for commissioned sessions across Australia. Interstate bookings are warmly welcomed and can be arranged upon request. Please note that travel costs apply, depending on the location and scope of the session.
